How does the new website builder work?

Before you start building your website for your event, we advise you to determine what pages you will need first and think of a layout for each page with all the content (text and images).

You can use different components to build your web pages.
A page consists of a number of sections, you decide how many sections you will use.
In a section you can add different elements, such as images, text and buttons.

We have created a demo website, so you can see all the possibilities:

You can start by using one of the standard templates that we have already prepared for you. Or start with a blank page and build your event website from scratch.

You can easily switch between the current and the new website builder to experience the difference between both builders.

You will find the option to switch website builders In the settings of your event:

You can go back to the current website builder by clicking on the ‘Opt-out’ button:

You can create 2 event websites if you want: a website with the current builder and a website with the new builder. As long as you don't publish your event, you can keep changing builders.
The latest version of the website including all content (text and images) will be saved for each website builder.

Please note:
If you have created a website with the current builder with text and images and you decide to use the new website builder, the text and images will not be transferred to the new website builder (and vice versa). You will have to add text and images again in the new website.

Once your event is published and your website is live, you will no longer be able to switch website builders. This way we can prevent any loss of your website content.
You can only use 1 website for your event :)
