Turning the tablets on/off
When you receive the tablets, they are turned off. You can turn them on by holding down the standby button on the right side for a few seconds. If the tablet does not turn on, the battery might have run out completely. Charge the tablet and try turning it on again. You will receive the code to unlock the tablet from your Event Consultant.
You can turn off the tablet by holding down the standy button for a few seconds. You will see the options to restart the tablet or to turn it off completely. Pay attention that you will have to confirm to turn off the tablet completely again.
Which app will you have to use for the Check-in?
To be able to check-in participants you have to open the aanmelder check-in app. You can recognize the app by the aanmelder.nl logo (see picture below). How the app works you can read in the article about the Aanmelder Check-in app.
Activate WiFi
The tablets are fitted with sim cards that are connected to the 4G network. In case of an unstable connection at your location you can connect the tablets to wifi. Open the control panel by swiping downwards from the top of the screen (see screenshot above). The wifi symbol - at the very left - has to be blue, this means it is turned on. If the wifi is turned off you can turn it on by clicking on the wifi symbol. Hold the button for a few seconds to open the wifi settings. There you can select the right network and type in your password if applicable. To make sure the tablet won't use the 4G network, the mobile data has to be turned off. You can turn off the mobile data through the control panel, click on the symbol with the two arrows (at the very right) until it turns grey.
