Would you like to see how the registration and payment process looks for participants? In aanmelder.nl, you can create a test payment to go through the complete registration and payment flow of a paid event. These test payments are free of charge and will not be deducted from your credit bundle.
Please note: once the event has been published, it is no longer possible to create test payments.
You can still remove the financial add-on as long as you have not received any registrations yet.
Preparation
- Check that your event has not been published yet via Dashboard > Event website > General settings.

- Have you not set up a payment system yet? Set up a payment system via Dashboard > Ticket configuration.

- Make sure you have created at least one paid ticket.Only tickets with a price can be used for a test payment.

Create a test payment
- In your event dashboard, go to Event website > Registration form.
- Click Preview in the top right corner.
- Fill in the registration form.
- Click Register and pay.
- Enter the invoice address details.
- Click Test payment.

- You will now see a notification. Click Continue.

- You will receive a confirmation email at the email address you entered. This email contains the test invoice. You can recognise it by the word ‘specimen’ displayed across the invoice. This means it is not an official invoice.

- The test registration will also appear in your dashboard under Registrations. This is where you will later see your actual paid registrations as well.

When you publish the event, the system will automatically ask whether you want to delete the test registrations.
Please note: once the event has been published, test payments are no longer possible. If you have not received any registrations yet, you can still remove the financial add-on.
Tip: if you decide not to organise a paid event after all, you can change the settings back to ‘This event has no registration fee’ while the event is still unpublished.
