You can configure how VAT is displayed on invoices and how VAT is applied to price components (none, inclusive of VAT, or exclusive of VAT). This can be configured under Dashboard > Ticket Configuration > Payment Settings:
You can also configure this per price component on the same page. Scroll down to Tickets.
Fee components with 'No VAT'.
No VAT is displayed for price components. The price you enter is the price shown on the invoice.
'Fee components excl. VAT'.
A VAT field is displayed for price components where the VAT percentage can be entered. The price you enter is exclusive of this VAT percentage. Below it, the price including VAT is shown. In this example, €121,- is the total amount payable, including VAT.
'Fee components incl. VAT'
A VAT field is displayed for price components where the VAT percentage can be entered. The price you enter is inclusive of this VAT percentage. Below it, the price excluding VAT is shown. In this example, €100,- is the total amount payable, including VAT.
Please note:
If you charge VAT on your tickets and your event takes place abroad, you can indicate this under 'Event location (for VAT)':
After clicking Ok, the correct VAT percentages will then be applied to your tickets automatically:
